Dean’s List Award is the highest honor given by the founder of FIRST, Dr.Dean Kamen to FTC and FRC students who demonstrated exceptional combination of leadership, technical skills, entrepreneurship and community service.
A total of 100 Finalists each from FTC and FRC from all over North America are invited to join FIRST founder and innovator Dean Kamen at the World Championships Opening Ceremonies where 10 winners will be announced. All the finalists are invited to a private luncheon with Dean Kamen and his guests.
Since its introduction in 2010, the FIRST Dean’s List Award has attracted the attention of prestigious colleges and universities who desire to have FIRST Dean’s List students apply for admissions. Colleges like MIT, Yale and WPI are interested in Dean’s List Finalists.
