On January 11, 2017, the X-Bots presented FIRST and its mission to the Minority Student Achievement Oversight Committee, which is part of the administration of Fairfax County Public Schools.

We spoke about FIRST and its impact on students. Each teammate spoke of their time in FIRST and how it changed their lives. We also answered questions about logistics and financial components. We hope to bring FIRST to underprivileged students in Fairfax County Public Schools.
